Spore Embrace - Porcelain and Glass Sculpture

Inspired by the remarkable world of fungi, Morning Droplets celebrates the invisible connections that sustain life. Thousands of glass beads are embedded within the porcelain surface of this piece, like dew caught on a spore cap at dawn. They catch and refract light, causing the surface to shift and transform. Each bead is placed by hand, one by one, in the hope that this accumulation of tiny details will earn the viewer's attention. To draw them close enough to touch, to linger, and perhaps to leave with a new curiosity about the fungal world quietly at work beneath our feet.
